Guests also commend the great deals on food and drinks, often boasting that the quality far exceeds the price, making it a value-for-money experience.
Some guests mention occasional wait times, especially during peak dinner hours on weekends, noting that tables can fill up quickly. On busy nights, noise levels may rise, which can overwhelm those seeking a quieter dining experience.

What a nice traditional pub we went there on recommendations from friends and must say wasn't disappointed my partner had a 2 meat roast which she highly rated I had macaroni cheese with garlic bread and chips which was outstanding that with a nice pint of cider and lovely staff perfect.
Absolutely unreal experience for a pub dinner for a family day out to the beach for the mother-in-laws birthday. Amazing prices for the quality of food. Staff are very friendly and the chef is a top guy and highly talented. I'm a fussy eater but his cooking of the gammon joint was amazing and tasted absolutely spot on. The veg was just great too. Would gladly visit again if I'm ever back down that way. Thank you for a FANTASTIC experience

I went to my friends baby shower. I ended up buying a carvery. It was all wrapped up for me to take home. It tasted and looked amazing. Value for money. I would visit here again.
Visited to watch the rugby on Saturday with family to celebrate my birthday . Staff were really welcoming to us in our strange fancy dress and the kids. Even supplied doughnuts! Thank you for an excellent afternoon!
Honestly, the quality took me by surprise. I had the lamb shank - to die for! My partner had the 8oz sirloin with peppercorn sauce, immaculate. We got lost on our way to another restaurant and decided to stop in. VERY pleasantly surprised. Both of us were sad when our food was finished. Will definitely be back!
Great value of £8.50 for Senior Citizens Carvery (includes a small pudding)
